Just like any major project, your website is complicated and requires a detailed plan and strategy. We believe the best way of being 100% clear about what we will deliver is by talking to you, gathering ideas and getting the results onto paper in the form of a website development project plan. This behind-the-scenes specification encompasses all of your ideas and visions with our technical know-how.

The planning and specification stage of the process isn't a part of the development that we just 'do' either. The project manager that you are assigned will liaise extensively with you to ensure we cover every detail. The result is a document completely unique to you and your new website. 

What will I get from the planning process?

The document we create for you identifies, in detail, the website's blueprint page by page as well as the layout, and the functionality of features or specific add-ons that your website will have. 

It will also detail how the content management system (the control panel of your website) will work, identifying the functions and features, their layout and what you can expect to see when you log in. To learn more, read about our content management system.

Once complete we then pass this document on to you for approval before going any further. We believe that being clear and open from the outset means that our clients avoid any hidden surprises once the project is delivered.

This means that when we start the next phase in the project, namely the creative visual design, everyone has a very clear idea of what we are aiming to achieve.
