Art Division take part of Business First 2004

TWO Wallington based companies are finding they are moving ahead by working closer together - and it's all thanks to the Croydon Chamber of Commerce's Business First Exhibition.

Hands-On Computers, an IT support maintenance company, and Art Division, a web and graphic design business, are now working out of the same premisesin Stafford Road, and passing on many customer leads to each other.

It all started when the two companies happened to find themselves on adjoining stands at the 1993 Croydon exhibition. As a results of discussions that took place there Art Division eventually moved into the same offices, and this year the two companies asked to be on a adjoining stands. 'We had a really good exhibition and it seemed right that we should be next to each other' said Nelly Berova of Art Division.

Richard Carter of hands-On Computers said: 'We have been in our offices for around five years and never shared with anybody, but it was one of the best decisions we made by inviting Art Division to move in. We are such complementary businesses we can help each other so much'.

The two companies have already requested adjoining stands for next year's show. 'We've been told they're not taking bookings yet, but we are hopeful' said Richard.
